About Westbrook Wine Farm
Ray and Tammy Krause are the Yin and the Yang of wine growing at Westbrook Wine Farm. The vineyard and winery are located in the central Sierra Nevada of eastern Madera County near the hamlet of O’Neals, Bass Lake and the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park.
Westbrook Wine Farm grows Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Carmenere. It is from these six classic red Bordeaux varietals that they produce their “Fait Accompli”, a co-fermented field blend in the Claret or Meritage style. Offering wines that are at least as good as the world’s best makes the Krause’s passion for sustainable wine growing and a life in balance all the more gratifying. Tours and tasting by appointment only. Come for the wine and a beautiful day in the Sierras.
